Samaritan Training

The Tucson Samaritans offer a monthly workshop helpful to anyone interested in becoming involved with Samaritans. There are three affiliated Samaritan groups in Arizona: Tucson, Ajo and Green Valley-Sahuarita. This training is not required before participation in our meetings or activities. It is helpful, so, if possible attend when the training when it is convenient. There is no need to notify them ahead of time.

The workshop includes the history of Samaritans, a brief history of the US-Mexican border, and what to expect on a Search. You can join their email list or sign up for their searches at the meeting. While there may be some operational differences in how Tucson and Green Valley-Sahuarita Samaritans conduct searches, the essentials are the same.

Attend a workshop on the first Sunday of the month
